      Cons

      Sometimes the beurocracy can be tiring. There are initiatives to help reduce red tape, but, at the end of the day, it's a Govt organization and there will always be beurocracy.

      Decent pay and benefits for the area, unique work that you can't do many other places, good opportunities for travel and promotion

      Commute and parking turns 8 hour shifts into 10 hour shifts, mandatory overtime and travel for periods of several months, frequent shutdowns, very poor morale, terrible first level supervision, mediocre middle management
