Pros

Ability for certain ppl to excel, Ppl smiling & Co-mingling, Networking events, Motivation Fairs and Festivals, Team Meetings, Cross-departmental Collaboration, Great Healthcare (ER to Woman Wellness care) on Campus, Branch access on campus, award winning Park facility (joining sports teams encouraged), Ability to shadow other Depts, Gyms & massage chairs throughout 8 bldgs, Food Court not limited to 1 bldg, Free Psychological help

Cons

Catty, Cliquish, 75% Smiles are forced to seek positive (seen low/not quite negative is highly frowned on) so ppl are fake or harboring backstabbing chaos to get ahead or manipulate you out (from Mngrs & ASM to HR/EEOC), Only certain ppl to excel (85/15% ratio is purposed inhouse & in loans, 15% of the 85% don't promote after 6+ yrs, 20% of the 85% are skill-less but will be promoted slyly/unceremoniously or awarded often while others (high volunteers) not at all so it looks valid, even if you've been yrs in banking you really have kiss up to be valued *I'll explain), so yes Ppl are co-mingling for insight to what you have or where you're at -watch ur back, Networking events & shadowing are Amazing but if ur Mngr has ought - you're contact center for life (Game: change arrival time to change Mngrs). Few Mngrs are there based on skillsets, a sense of honor or degrees. So they're the cattiest, most unbalanced bunch that hold their own agenda. There are Mngr mtngs to distinguish how each team is pairing w/others & if ur team has a low earner (*not sending wkly peer motivation cards, volunteering, presentations, timely 2m calls per person w/o angering mbrs, etc) then that Mngr will Weed you out to win $$$ (bonuses are life here). Things recently changed, so hopefully the weeding, bias & nepotism will resolve. For the few: volunteering & presentations at Team Meetings, lead, mentor, Cross-departmental Collaborations, Networking, Shadowing, Sports etc, won't help YOU promote. It will motivate you to keep coming back thinking someday you'll matter. The Gyms will work out frustration before or after work (because during work, time is calculated to the milliseconds & the bldg are huge to travel thru). I personally don't go to the Food Court except to preheat food I bring vs order & wait (the savvy can preorder online, but if thing go wrong on the phone, you're a no show for the food), so you're go'n to need the free Psychological help or south up for the help groups in team web chats.

Pros

In my tenure I had wonderful people I met who had a great impact on my life.

Cons

Unreasonable expectations, lack of planning and change management, no work-life balance, destroyed my mental health and had a severe negative impact on my family life and overall well being, accommodations denied, FMLA was a nightmare- I was hounded the entire time when I would return. Also an emergency that was life threatening and was expected to continue to report daily after clearly outlining the details and severity of the situation. Lack of empathy from upper management, thankful my direct leadership had a soul . Total opposite of the place I was so proud to work for and the culture that Mr. Dawson built has almost been fundamentally torn apart piece by piece. Multiple requests to voluntarily step down. I’ve seen another review from the department of people having severe mental distress issues and this is an ongoing issue that has been silently known about since at least 2018 and nothing has really been done. The pressure just keeps adding on instead. A lot of talk, but it’s fluff. Then when finally the impact takes its toll and an employee performance starts to show the struggles, they’re placed on a PIP & basically playing Russian roulette to keep your livelihood. Maybe member experience would be better if employees were actually cared for and not disregarded. And when you are strong willed and try to improve and won’t quit, they will find a way to throw you to the curb after you’ve devoted years of loyalty, integrity, awards, and exceeding performances. Please save the “we are sorry and this does not reflect our blah blah” auto reply. It’s insulting.
