Supervisors will find any reason not to give you a promotion/raise. Management has a disconnect between what needs to be produced to fill backorder, vs what can actually be made because of lack of ingredients/time/equipment. Pay is below industry standard. Production schedules can change between when you walk in the door and when you check the computer. Everyone is always quick to shift blame when something goes wrong, and if you're at the bottom of the totem pole, it's probably going to land on you. Best to just keep you head down, follow instructions exactly, and not go out of your way to go above and beyond because it won't be rewarded anyway.
