Pros
Opportunities are available if you connect and reach out to different people. There are some outstanding people who really do live the NetApp values and are great to work with.
Cons
For every great person at NetApp are a number of very difficult people. Some are in big leadership positions and are secured. Some are day-to-day contributors and NetApp is too nice to do anything about them. Layoffs seem arbitrary and doesn't necessarily weed out these difficult, unproductive folks. Salary seems to be on the lower range for Silicon Valley.
