Thanks for your feedback! Company culture is incredibly important to us. Hiring top performers is important, but it comes secondary to being comfortable being ourselves around the people we work with. So yes, we look for capable, innovative and intelligent, but we need to have people who are collaborative, empathetic and as you put it, "nice", as well! Opportunities for growth are an important part of any company culture and our People Team has done a great job over the past couple of years building job architectures so that people have a roadmap for their professional development. Another thing that NetBrain does well is flexibility. Almost all of our employees are remote or hybrid with at least some days working from home. NetBrain expects people to be professional and accountable for their responsibilities, but with that comes the ability to take care of your family and your own physical and mental well-being. Our CEO and Founder, Lingping Gao, has always preached self-care and physical well-being. I've heard many employees reference times where they may put in some extra time as needed, but that they also have times where they're able to log off and step away to go for a walk or take a kid to a practice or doctors appointment as needed during business hours. All-in-all, the hours should balance themselves out as work-life balance and self-care are extremely important. If you feel like the work-life seesaw has a large boulder sitting on the work side, please don't keep it to yourself! Talk to your manager for tips on strategies for how you can budget time to stay on top of your tasks without needing to consistently work extra time to accomplish that. If they're unable to help or unable to redistribute any work, talk to the People Team Business Partner who also may be able to provide insight on prioritization, strategies for productivity and efficiency, and if all else fails and the workload is just too big, they can work with hiring managers and department leadership to find a solution. Thanks again for your feedback!

Thanks for reviewing us and providing feedback on your experience over the last 3-4 years here! As a company, we're definitely united in our mission to grow NetBrain and serve our customers in solving problems they struggled to solve previously in their networks. It's a mission that we're passionate about, but we recognize how important time outside of your job is with family, hobbies and other loved one. Work-life balance is extremely important. Yes, many jobs have peaks and valleys and times that get busier than others, but we truly do focus on total wellness, It's great to see that you and others who have reviewed us are able to recognize that. I'd love to offer some insight on your feedback about coding, but I'm sorry to say that I don't have quite enough information to do that. I can tell you that we have a robust Research & Development team that makes up just a shade under 30% of the company and we are always focused on innovating and keeping the product well ahead of any competitors in the market. If you have any more specific feedback, please do share it with leadership. If you feel like your feedback hasn't gotten the attention it needs, reach out to your People Experience Business Partner. The People Experience team is always available to support you and help your messages reach the right channels. Thanks again for the feedback!

Pros

Leadership sets consistently ambitious goals that keep everyone motivated and focused. ;)

Cons

NetBrain talks a big game about innovation and leadership, but my experience was the opposite: bloated management, poor communication, and a culture that felt more focused on appearances than execution. The leadership under the CEO came across as disconnected from employees and customers alike, with constant churn, unrealistic expectations, and little accountability when things went wrong. What’s most disappointing is seeing major firms like Blackstone associated with a company that, from the outside, looks far more polished than it actually operates internally. The product promises efficiency, but the organization itself often felt inefficient, reactive, and overly political. Overall, I would not recommend working with or for this company unless major leadership and cultural changes happen first.
