Pros

I think many people cannot imagine the complexity of a large fractional aviation company. Plus that the number of countries in Europe, means working within different legal frameworks and cultures and within each day. Over the 13-14 years that I have worked for NetJets Europe I have seen the company evolve. NetJets Europe invent solutions to threats or inefficiencies that smaller companies ach for small companies, that other companies would regard as unchangeable as the weather. Thus as a 'pro' I would start with saying "a very advanced standard of knowledge in it's field". Another pro is definitely that I as a captain decide what is safe. Sure, if I decide not to fly for no good reason, I will receive (kind yet nevertheless) questions the next day or so as to why. At the day of the decision however the company has always supported me as I am the only one with the full picture. And the questions are in my experience only in order to find out if the company could change procedures to avoid such a situation in the future for example. The company has occasionally replied with suggestions how they would have solved the situation, but only as a suggestion for next time. That brings me to the next point: 'no fear'. I fly safe, I call in sick when I don't feel great or have problems at home. For the first few days I do not need to even say why I am not coming to work. When my grandfather died I was send home right away. NetJets does not even want a pilot who is sad in the cockpit. I think another pro is that crew can travel on empty flights and take their family along. Just an amazing and let's be honest for most normally unachievable way to travel. Finally I think that executive jet flying is just way more rewarding from a professional point of view. I often need to go back into some books or documentation (really mostly provided by the company) to familirize myself with very unique flying techniques and knowledge. Flying into London City Airport, airports in a valley in the Alps, or little airports that don't even have a control tower. I have been to more that 400 airports.. A spectrum of operation that an airline pilot couldn't even comprehend. Ah yeah and there's the fun of knowing you had a nice chat with a few of the celebrities you see on TV.

Cons

Although the salary is comparable to the airline industry, the company pension scheme is one of the worst compared with the airlines. Still the best in the executive jet industry (Europe) though.

Pros

Informations Technology Everyone working hard for a solution

Cons

Did not really have the opportunity to talk with the crew. For safety reasons, they were behind closed doors. But, it could have been fun to hear stories, and let them get to know is )outside of the flying) and what we do.
