Pros

Culture, Opportunity, Team Members, Vision and Community. A faced paced environment for those who desire and want more out of their career...opportunity abounds. A focus on working to exceed clients expectations by listening and taking action on what needs to be done. Most important, the ability to talk to anyone on any team regarding any issue.

Cons

Health care is a busy, changes frequently, there is much to do. Staying on task to ensure we deliver is essential if we are going to make the difference we desire.

Pros

-Upper management on this team is incredible. -Flexible Paid Time Off(Pro and Con) -Very good at easing newcomers into corporate life. -Management actually values and considers input even from an associate with less experience.

Cons

Pay is not great, but definitely a decent chance of getting good bumps if you put in the work. Benefits are just okay. Flexible Paid Time Off(Pro and Con)

Pros

The team I work with is dedicated and loyal to the company and takes an ownership mentality.

Cons

If you care, you’ll give up your nights, your weekends, your blood, sweat, tears, joy, you’ll miss family events, even health appointments, your house will fall apart, your relationships will suffer, and you might even get asked to shorten your time away. There is nobody in the positions of the right help, and far too many managers, and too many per diem who have other jobs that can’t give enough hours but hold per diem positions hostage. When you ask for help, it’s always answered with a “We are trying”. Yet it’s been years of asking and the ask still falls on deaf ears. The company is missing opportunities to grow a huge revenue stream because they won’t create structure and processes; and positions to manage those structures. There are so many missed opportunities here, in a field that really needs us. I don’t know how to make my voice louder. It’s just not heard. We are top heavy in management. We need certain tasks completed, and are not getting what we need, no matter how many meetings we have about it. In fact, I don’t have time for the meetings anymore. We didn’t even celebrate Nurse’s Week. Not a single person even mentioned it. They work you to within an ounce left of your sanity, and then there’s absolutely no recognition or cohesiveness or celebration of any achievmemts instead, it’s “We didn’t make our quota.”. It’s all hurry up and get your work done, but then slow down because you’re making mistakes. Pay is mediocre for this level of experience and expertise-non-management level positions elsewhere offer far more in salary. Plus all the money you’ll spend to try to get things done just to manage your life, like paying for grocery delivery because you’ll never see the inside of a grocery store again. It’s madness. Not a sustainable career.
