Pros
- Opportunities for growth - Travel every 3 weeks-ish (pre-covid) - Schedule freedom - Decent salary
Cons
- Some products have very streamlined/effective teams, while others are complete disasters - Flip between being overworked or having no work at all - Poor management and communication - Promised to have support, but when the moment comes left out to dry - Constant firefighting (system, teams, clients, everything) - Corporate growth through acquisitions at the cost of employees (ex: layoffs, promised pay raises were cut, and promised promotions were cut all while the company purchased multiple companies - money goes to the "health of the company" not the health of the employees) - Sales teams promise what cannot be delivered - Projects on unrealistic timelines - Products pushed onto clients that do not fit needs or do not work at all - No training on the system or configuration at all, and then thrown into leading training clients putting their financial health at risk - Promotes culture and values everywhere, but fails to live up to them at every turn
