Pros
- Smaller teams with options for networking and spending time with co-workers outside of office hours. - Supportive management as far career building goes and attempts to work with you for PTO scheduling as much as they can when your approval comes before a client engagement. - Good team/team management chemistry.
Cons
- Unilateral decision to enforce four days back in office for "collaboration" in a role where 90% of collaboration is a teams meeting no matter the physical location regardless of team/employee preferences even though you'll hear constant kudos for new sales/projects, high client satisfaction numbers, and positively trending productivity metrics from WFH period. - High utilization rates that can lead to burnout when you hit high traffic periods of project work and travel policies towards utilization that work against you and feel like an additional burden on top of already having to travel. (Same for flex PTO plan - any time taken off just increases the number of weekly hours needed to hit utilization rather removing hours taken as PTO from total) - Pay is under market rate and upper management will use any reason they can to deny raises in review cycles.
