Pros

The patients is why I came into work

Cons

The ceo was rude as heck to staff and didn’t care about our safety. The nurses belittled the PCA and CNA on a regular. It was a lot of none sense gossip taking place that caused hostile environment. They engaged in the drama and made it so difficult to work there. By far one of the worse places I’ve worked I wouldn’t even consider sending a family member there.

Pros

I get to work with patients who need a lot of help. I have a family member who experienced a psych episode, and I've wanted to help ever since. We get to work with psych and medical patients, which can be hard but also great experience building. The pay and benefits are good for psych and the area. The leadership team is newer but getting better. I feel more listened to. mostly good experience with colleagues

Cons

Leadership could communicate better and keep creating improvements. i think the scheduling could be more flexible

Pros

Working with people struggling with mental health

Cons

Leadership is not available. They do not care about their employees. The DON is more interested in the maintenance man than her nurses. We are always short staffed. The bullying by the shift supervisors is off the hook.
