High pressure/high stress work environment - Senior Geologist Nevada Gold Mines Employee Review

Very high pressure work environment. Employees are held accountable for things they could not possibly control. Instead of coaching and training, employees are "motivated" by yelling/attempting to humiliate them. Very long commute means work days are 13+ hours long. Most departments are chronically understaffed so it is hard to get time for training or collaboration.
