      Pros

      All the engineers are super kind and want to be very helpful. Everyone will chip in and lend a hand. For engineering, work/life balance is great.

      Cons

      Everyone puts out very nice messages full of thanks and how everyone is a team and people should take it easy, but then gets very intense about “paying for performance”. It feels passive aggressive. Way too many meetings because everyone is given veto power over everything.

      Does not pay like big tech but as an IC you'll be part of union with job protections
