Pros

Amazing pay and benefits. Some techs share the same grievances

Cons

Favortism, some extremely rude pharmacists, lack of training, constant burn out, etc. The outpatient window area is extremely high volume and has a lot of risk for mistakes. Asking your manager for help falls on deaf ears.

Pros

Great benefits and compensation package. When department management is supportive and aligns with the clinical team, it creates an outstanding work environment.

Cons

2 months into my employment management team subjected me to a highly adversarial and intimidating review meeting characterized by an extreme imbalance of power, with three superiors pressuring me without any independent support. Throughout the discussion, leadership relied on arbitrary, unestablished performance standards and weaponized isolated workflow examples to issue severe threats regarding my job security and professional license. Management completely dismissed my years of proven clinical experience and excellent historical( 4 years w/Cornell ) reviews, choosing instead to focus entirely on negativity, nitpicking, and policing my body language. Furthermore, they aggressively devalued my professional dedication to late-day patient safety while simultaneously stripping away my overtime compensation rights. Ultimately, the meeting was cut off abruptly and unprofessionally without a conclusion, leaving a clear and distinct impression of targeted age discrimination aimed at forcing a voluntary resignation.
