Pros

Absolutely no pros at all. Any nice reviews you see from the marketing team on here are all a ploy, with management asking employees to make positive reviews to offset the many bad ones.

Cons

Everything. The chief marketing officer is absolutely horrible. Truly not a kind person in any sense of the word. Your entire job will be putting out fires that aren’t actually fires. You will be ruled by fear and the desire to just get through a days work. There is little to no work life balance, with you being made to feel bad for taking any time off and coming back to being yelled at for not getting something done that was requested while you were off. The data and infrastructure is so incredibly bad that you are expected to make the impossible happen with no data-backed insights. As a result, the marketing team is constantly ridiculed like this poor infrastructure is their fault.

Pros

- Great work/life balance - Awesome coworkers - Lots of opportunities to try new things and be innovative

Cons

- Senior leadership does not value remote workers and doesn't get to know them/engage with them - Frequently lays off remote employees, regardless of performance, achievements, or job role, sometimes without offering options to move or relocate. They also on occasion use underhanded tactics to pressure remote employees to leave so they don't have to pay out severance. Lastly, unless required by your state's law, they never pay out your remaining time off - If you start underpaid, you will remain underpaid even after promotions - Job performance does not impact yearly bonuses/increases. Pay doesn't keep up with inflation
