Pros
It is basically about the people. There is some sort of weird magic here at Nextiva; we just attract a particular type of people that I find to be amazing. People who care less about your title but care more about how to help you and jump into action. I've been surrounded mostly by incredible people from which I have learned, relied and gotten inspired. People that when you explain your problem, they won't leave you hanging and will find ways to help or ways to connect you with others. In my experience, I've been given opportunities to take on new responsibilities and by delivering results be able to climb the career ladder. The approach is simple: Get s#*t done! The global culture is just unbelievable. No matter if you are working with a teammate in Europe, Mexico, Canada, US or India... they are all just great humans to work with. They take responsibility and show up.
Cons
This environment is not for everybody. If you like bureaucracy or blaming a problem on someone else, or just "do your part" and don't care about the end result, NEXTIVA is definitely not for you. But also, not everybody is amazing, sometimes you can find some icky teammates, but fortunately the system spits them out, sometimes sooner sometimes later, but out of every icky person I have identified most of them are far gone. Look here at Nextiva we care about results but also about how you get them and who you give recognition to.
