Pros

Hockey tickets, A good work life balance

Cons

In the many years I've worked here, I've gone through five or six managers, they have a really big problem with retention. They refuse to give meaningful raises or pay adjustments thus incentivizing churn to other companies and a general lack of morale. Leadership early on was miserable at communicating and even worse at recognizing what makes their company and subcompanies special, it was quickly apparent all the best talent and the folks that make it special did not matter, and they found employment where they were appreciated and aptly compensated. Their leadership also seem to be allergic to interacting with their boots on the ground. They get their infromation either from PMs or their managers, thus diluting and playing phone tag with reality.

Pros

Great insurance benefits and a mission that's easy to believe in.

Cons

The biggest issue is understaffing. The workload exceeds the team's capacity, leading to frequent late hours and burnout. Investing in more employees would make this a much better place to work. Long hours and after-hours work have become the norm. I want this to be a great place to work again, and the team needs the support to make that happen.
