Pros
Real world training to become a better and more diversified apartment manager. Autonomy, no micromanaging. Never felt like simply paper pusher - I given support to learn all aspects of the building I managed. Residents in the portfolio and employees were treated as people - not just a number. Most property management companies allow the unreasonable few to erode the livability of a community because of fear of bad reviews, or worse - this company protects and advocates for ownership and residents, taking the brunt of abuse against those who act deplorably towards their neighbors and community.
Cons
Lack of ability to move up within company. Networks must be built individually - can be isolating. Lack of trust among some groups of people potentially inhibit productivity.
