Pros

I am Graduate Research assistant at Dr. Torchilin's lab at Northeastern University. I work with renal cancer cells. It has been a great learning experience. I have gained experience in various laboratory techniques. I carry out cell culture experiments and also in-vivo testings.

Cons

It is a very competitive laboratory with a number of Phd students and I feel privileged to be a part of this team. There is a lot of hardwork involved but at the same time the work environment is very motivating.

Pros

Great opportunity to learn about professional audio, lighting, video systems, and other event production technologies. Access to training and guidance from ETC-certified staff, providing valuable hands-on learning experience. Opportunity to work on exciting events and participate in a variety of engaging and enjoyable projects.

Cons

Management was one of the biggest challenges. Leadership, particularly at the director level, often lacked the technical understanding needed to make informed decisions, which made it difficult for technical teams to work effectively. Compensation was below market expectations, and there were concerns about hiring standards. Team members sometimes lacked the qualifications or skills required for their roles, and communication across departments was often unclear and inconsistent.
