Pros

- Access to excellent benefits package ant time off except for sick time - Acess to unlimitted self paced training and development through CATLR and virtual training - Exchange daily interactions with Faculty and Students -Contribute to the student's ability to obtain excellent quality education

Cons

- with technological advances enabling faculty's productivity Administrative support is becoming less essential for college / faculty operations as the faculty can undertake most of these functions in addition to their teaching and service loads. Therefore not a lot of opportunity for growth in the administrative support sector unless you join with a Marketing or ITS background.

Pros

Great opportunity to learn about professional audio, lighting, video systems, and other event production technologies. Access to training and guidance from ETC-certified staff, providing valuable hands-on learning experience. Opportunity to work on exciting events and participate in a variety of engaging and enjoyable projects.

Cons

Management was one of the biggest challenges. Leadership, particularly at the director level, often lacked the technical understanding needed to make informed decisions, which made it difficult for technical teams to work effectively. Compensation was below market expectations, and there were concerns about hiring standards. Team members sometimes lacked the qualifications or skills required for their roles, and communication across departments was often unclear and inconsistent.
