Pros
The overall community and diverse feeling is like no other. There is a great energy and momentum at the University and people are very welcoming and friendly. The location is convenient and most of the benefits are what you would expect out of a Higher Education institution.
Cons
There is a hierarchy structure that is sometimes difficult to navigate depending on the office/department. As a result it is sometimes hard to find the right person to talk to in order to get clear answers or you can find you'll get no response at all. Additionally, the most striking flaw in the benefits is that the commuter benefits (MBTA and commuter rail passes) are not subsidized, only pre-taxed amounts. For being an institution that is in the heart of Boston, this seems like an area that should be revisited.
