Management heavily focus on what they can do to improve patient safety except for the things that would actually improve patient safety such as more staffing. Constantly hiring temp nurses, and banning their skilled and dedicated nurses on their "no rehire list" when they leave. Toxic employment. NL is often referring themselves as "a family" but this reference is a false sense of security and a fake attempt of making people feel heard or valued. If you leave, you're immediately outcast and added to the "system's" no rehire list preventing you from working at any NL facility in the state, or their partners/affiliates.
