Pros
Lots of opportunity for younger generation as older employees are retiring; flexible; good benefits; nice colleagues; opportunity to try different things all over bank; interesting work; genuine care for clients and integrity in service which is rare
Cons
Financial services generally are very competitive and so lots of politics to navigate, needs stronger experiential training, pay is soft unless you are a very high performer who pushes the issue, technology needs further updating, company is slow to remove problem managers and employees, like any big company you need to seek out resources and be proactive.
