      You get to stay ahead in healthcare topics, research, news, etc. and the value added can visibly correlate to getting more equipment or helping more patients. -Pension -work/life balance (consistent 8-5 or 9-5) -relative pay compared to nearby systems

      Cons

      The politics in the finance division are startling and information gate-keeping goes far beyond standard, regulatory security. Very slow career growth, especially without moving teams. No set timeframes at any level, specifically analyst or even manager.

      Pros

      -some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

      Cons

      -low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
