Pros

Northside is a really great organization and I have enjoyed working here for the last 10 years. I find the team of people to be professional, caring, and very supportive. It's an organization that cares about its patients, staff and community. There is great opportunity for advancement, learning and trying new things. My team has a lot of longevity and recently celebrated someone who was employeed at Northside for over 40 years.

Cons

We are a large organization and continuously growing. To me that is a wonderful thing, but it also comes with growing pains at times and the need to be flexible, patient, reflective and adaptive.

Pros

Great work environment, Great people. Great benefits. Great structure. Great ability for growth! Love working here!

Cons

Seems they will sometimes hire anyone just to 'fill a spot' and will move 'problem workers' around instead of doing what they need to do..

Pros

Work from home is great

Cons

Was hired with the impression that over-time hours were a perk for my department. Out of nowhere, it was snatched without any warning to allow employees to prepare financially. I am now struggling financially with a disabled kid with no end in sight. Since overtime was snatched, I’ve experienced homelessness, and struggled to pay day to day expenses. The PTO policy is awful Upper management apparently sits in a throne room and regular employees aren’t allowed to even reach out to them. If we do, we’re ignored. Not sure if it’s just my department, but the culture is to not ask questions and to just deal with sudden changes that disrupt workflow as they come Work/Life balance is a myth
