Northside Hospital is like no other organization I have worked for. Now approaching my 10 year anniversary I can say without a doubt that if you are looking for an organization that cares about its employees, patients and patient families, This is the organization to be with. Teamwork is the foundation, service excellence is the fiber and exceptional patient care and outcomes are our results.

Student nurse extern

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
