Pros

Health Benefit Package 4x10 schedules allowed (but demonized) Having christmas eve and black friday off

Cons

Management treats the audit department seperately than any other department. This department is not included in the satellite locations just because. The reasoning is there is more collaboration needed but this job is mostly independent work. Management reduced hybrid schedules which is basically full time if you work four tens and is not really hybrid at all. If its a holiday week that mean one day hybrid if you work four tens. If your sick with COVID they do not care. After five days they force you to come in but do not offer a place you can isolate from people even though the CDC still recommends allowing people to wfh. This speaks highly to how little they care about their employees. Your coworker you sit next to his high risk? Who cares… With COVID now its very easy to use up all the sick time as two weeks really isnt much if you get sick as COVID can put you out a week plus. The only reason i can think of to not be more accomodating is because they assume all their employees are liars. Strict rules that make no sense. They claim to promote excellence but they are actually promoting mediocracy with all the control measures. Moreover, punishing your highest producing employees citing the need for better customer service is demoralizing when they are producing already above and beyond the KPIs. Vacation schedule is mediocre at best. It hasn't been updated in over thirty years. The first year you have to borrow from the next years vacation. You have to work 20 plus years to get 4 weeks off. Seattle is moving towards european standards. The holiday schedule looks bad as neither juneteenth or mlk day do employees have the day off. Most of the customers we serve have juneteenth off so it looks pretty bad when they ask you why you dont have that day off. Mlk day day was switched for black Friday but ignoring juneteenth is an interesting choice to say the least. The audit department is very niche. It does not translates well to other jobs. They promote conventionally attractive people and people who dont know what they are doing more often than not (just to see if theyll do better at another job) if you are good at your job they’d rather keep you there. If you think only working 40 hours is worklife balance then so be it. However, they are not actually accommodating to your life at all unless you're a chosen favorite or deemed trustable. Again they just think you are lying. They prefer do as i say not as i do. They partcipate in golf events instead of community events. Why arent you partcipating in events that support our customers instead of golf tournaments? Most of our customers are the working class not the elite class? Theyve broken the law around protected sick time with no remorse or any apologies.

Pros

Organized, benefits, easy to learn role and material after some time, and made friends

Cons

Weird, nonexistent culture (encouraged and established by management), benefits only available after certain amount of months (health 3, dental 6? if I remember and vision 12). Work from home offering is bait and switch as they are actively working towards fully eliminating it.
