Pros

lots of resources available on the floor, it's fairly easy to contact providers and get responses,

Cons

CNAs still work independently from nurses and are understaffed; several times worked with one CNA on a 40+ bed unit floor overnight.

Pros

Of all the companies I have worked for Novant has been the best experience. I moved back into leadership after years of having stepped back from leadership due to burnout and frustration. Novant invests more than any company I have seen in both frontline and leader development, with cohesive messaging about priorities. I truly enjoy the teams I work with.

Cons

IT was moved to overseas a few years back. They back-pedaled on this and moved some aspects back to domestic coverage, but overall, I can't see where this improves operational efficiency despite surface level savings.
