Great Rehab unit team, feels like we’re all in the same boat, flexible with PTO and some accommodations
Cons
Management can be a bit loose, multiple supervisors = who’s really in charge, things fall through the cracks, this position had a ton of down time but requires an employee most work days

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear the rehab team provided a supportive environment and that flexibility with PTO and accommodations was helpful during your time with us. Clear leadership and communication are important to our teams, and feedback like yours helps inform ongoing efforts to strengthen structure, coordination, and support across roles.
Of all the companies I have worked for Novant has been the best experience. I moved back into leadership after years of having stepped back from leadership due to burnout and frustration. Novant invests more than any company I have seen in both frontline and leader development, with cohesive messaging about priorities. I truly enjoy the teams I work with.
Cons
IT was moved to overseas a few years back. They back-pedaled on this and moved some aspects back to domestic coverage, but overall, I can't see where this improves operational efficiency despite surface level savings.
I had a great experience as a Research Assistant at Novant Health. The team was welcoming, collaborative, and supportive of learning. I gained valuable experience in clinical research, data collection, patient interactions, and working alongside healthcare professionals. The environment encouraged professional growth, and I appreciated the opportunity to contribute to meaningful research while developing skills that will benefit my future career in healthcare.
Cons
Depending on the project, the workload could fluctuate, and some tasks were repetitive, such as data entry and documentation. However, these responsibilities are a normal part of research and helped reinforce attention to detail.
