Pros

AXIA Physician Solutions uses pretty colors in marketing. Wants to be like Athenahealth, but they are not in the same league. Novant is financially backing this management service organization, otherwise they would be out of business.

Cons

Working at AXIA is like being in a Frat house with immature boys. The AXIA leadership is overstaffed with poor leadership that do not know how to lead a team or manage a business. The AXIA product was introduced to market prematurely by the AXIA leader (DPE) filled with defects, no service descriptions, unanswered questions and no pricing structure. The frat house boys are too busy playing cruel practical jokes on team members instead of taking care of business. Customer confidentiality is not secure. Employees are treated disrespectfully.

Pros

Of all the companies I have worked for Novant has been the best experience. I moved back into leadership after years of having stepped back from leadership due to burnout and frustration. Novant invests more than any company I have seen in both frontline and leader development, with cohesive messaging about priorities. I truly enjoy the teams I work with.

Cons

IT was moved to overseas a few years back. They back-pedaled on this and moved some aspects back to domestic coverage, but overall, I can't see where this improves operational efficiency despite surface level savings.
