Pros

Benefits and pay was on par with the industry. Most Co-Workers are friendly and hard working.

Cons

Leadership architecture is based on a who's who hierarchy based out of Winston-Salem. These upper elite members of managers and supervisors have little to no knowledge about their actual departments. Espionage and backstabbing on co-workers is encouraged and will excel you up the ladder. Any complaint made to the Human Resources Department is met with swift and severe Retaliation. Human Resources Department is purposely staffed with morons that do not even know the company policy and are easily coerced by Management. If you excel at your job but do not fit in with the clique you will be ousted from communication, overloaded with work in attempts to force your failure, and if those tactics do not work lies, policy manipulation, and the falsifying of evidence will be used to discharge you.

Pros

I had a great experience as a Research Assistant at Novant Health. The team was welcoming, collaborative, and supportive of learning. I gained valuable experience in clinical research, data collection, patient interactions, and working alongside healthcare professionals. The environment encouraged professional growth, and I appreciated the opportunity to contribute to meaningful research while developing skills that will benefit my future career in healthcare.

Cons

Depending on the project, the workload could fluctuate, and some tasks were repetitive, such as data entry and documentation. However, these responsibilities are a normal part of research and helped reinforce attention to detail.
