Under no uncertain terms should you EVER trust the Speak Up line, UNLESS you have irrefutable and well-documented facts (emails, texts, pictures) about being a member of a protected class. Management will circle the wagons (and will not stop to make up information about the employee) to protect management. This includes protection of managers who bully and intimidate and work in the grey of poor ethics. Speak Up will say that Novartis has a strict no retaliation policy - DO NOT trust it.
