Pros
Overtime is offered to people who want it.
Cons
- no opportunity to learn because in bag department they rush your learning and if you can't pick it up quickly, you are let go - you are let go if you can't do the entire week of overtime instead of the days that you can do it - send you home because there are no orders or material because someone in the office doesn't know how to inventory or schedule orders right - descriminating to certain employees - maintenance employees get paid to walk around and not do anything (maintenance reports that have been written 3 years ago has not been touched) - forklift driver that brings boxes to machines takes 2 hours to deliver anything - manager and human resources are getting paid just to sit on their butt and do nothing regardless of the employee iasues - manager and human resources work together to ignore all employees and should be replaced - was threatened to be let go because I fixed the tape machine, which maintenance didn't think was a priority - electronic keys are made to certain employees, not to all employees - maintenance do work by doing short cuts to machines, but won't take the time to fix anything to last longer - make forklift drivers don't follow safety and are too much in a hurry to load trailers without considering the safety of other enployees - male forklift drivers have no consideration to driving speed - human resources and manager will offer you direct deposit but later give you the runaround when it comes to processing it, even to throwing away your direct deposit paper in the trash because they won't process it - suggestions are being made to make jobs and running orders easier for the packers but management and human resources say they will follow through but then ignore the employee because they are happy how things are being done already and don't want yo be bothered by useless suggestions from employees because it takes time away from them doing nothing
