Pros

The software is truely for good!

Cons

Don't believe the positive reviews, everyone I speak to are not happy! New starters start with joy to join a tech company, but most leave with 12-18 months as different people with the life sucked out of them, as management slowly destroys their soles. Please, please trust me, don't ever think about joining Nuix, at least until Jonathan Rubinsztein (CEO) and Alexis Rouch (CTO) move on. Also, no career opportunities; it's all BS the stories they tell new recruits.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all employee concerns seriously and are disappointed to hear about your experience. We'd welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns directly through P&C, your manager, our whistleblower channel, or anonymously via our pulse survey. I would also love to discuss if you're comfortable doing so. Specifically regarding career opportunities - we've been actively working to improve this area and would value understanding the barriers you've experienced. We're committed to creating a positive work environment and continuously improving based on our people's feedback. - Alexis Rouch, Chief Technology Officer

Pros

Other software engineers are very highly talented and capable.

Cons

The company went public on promises it could never keep. The touted Nuix engine was powerful in an age before cloud computing. But it was built on individual "workers" communicating over JMS. This was powerful to exploit multi threading on a single machine, but not properly designed to exploit the horizontal scale the cloud can bring.
