As our company has come together over the last few years from literally 75+ smaller companies, we have been working hard to preserve each local team’s connection with their community and customers while creating consistent processes with new technology platforms. We are indeed focusing on metrics and balanced scorecards as any well-run company does. We believe balanced scorecards are critical in having customer metrics, employee metrics and operational metrics in addition to financial metrics. This is a change for some of our teams who aren’t as data-driven as others. This is never intended to replace our mission-driven culture or our local community focus, but rather to enhance it. Numbers, scorecards, and metrics show us where we can improve our performance so we can better serve more customers faster.
