Pros
The people you work with at the store level are the only pros to this job.
Cons
Excessive micromanagement, high pressure sales, too many tasks to fit into a regular shift, and a complete lack of concern for what they call their "team members" is the method of operation for O'Reilly's. Pay is horrendous, stress is even more-so if you don't meet their unrealistic sales goals. They say they offer an "incentive program" based on sales but it amounts to mere pennies for tons of high-pressure work. Management at the district and regional level is the worst part. They are micro-managers with only a vision for their own advancement. If you aren't helping them to advance, you're worthless. The only support you'll receive as a manager is constant negative emails and badgering from the district level and above. There is never anything positive regardless of how well you or your store is doing. O'Reilly's = hypocritical management.
