Pros

- Parts discounts are great! - I’ve had nothing but good coworkers! Making lots of friends and memories. - No worry of unemployment bc they are in constant need of employees

Cons

- As a female, with both knowledge and real world experience, I worked my butt off for two years to get to RSS and got minimal raises (thinking it was normal). To find out every new and former male coworker of mine (many with zero knowledge or relevant experience) we’re starting out being paid .50-$1 more than me after two years of raises. - When confronting management about low and unequal pay, just looking for an answer, I was only met with “you aren’t supposed to discuss pay.” - My direct managers were great people. Management above them beginning with our DM micromanage and talk in circles if you confront them with issues. - Management does not recognize you for the good you do and extra hours you put in to help the company.

Pros

The catalog system is easy to use and technology wise they are pretty up to date, very simple and convenient

Cons

The hours suck, the pay sucks. The company only cares about profit it’s no different from autozone, they are able to sell parts for less compared to Napa because they pay the employees barely above minimum, they don’t like giving raises no matter how hard your work you have to basically be a store manager or higher to get a good pay. They open more stores to make more profit and keep employees at the bare minimum. It sucks working there I think if your ISS, which is wholesale, you can make decent money with that because they give a bigger bonus from the amount of sales you make plus less responsibility and better hours but thats if a position opens up and you’ll probably be there 4 plus years until you can get that position unless you’re lucky and one opens up in the area.
