Pros

I worked for them for 3 1/2 years. Started out as a driver/store setup person. Within 2 months I was promoted to RSS (retail service specialist). Then after being promoted within 6 months if that I was promoted to Assistant Manger. I got pay raises accordingly. I loved working for them and I still am a loyal customer as well as telling people about them. The only reason I left was to the fact if moving out of state and getting married. I miss all my customers I had while I was there. But time to time I still see some of them. I would go back in a minute, if the opportunity came around. And we always got our breaks at the location I was at. I learned slot from some of the employees when I first started. And then I had a great manager than came on after I started could have not asked for a better manager than I had. When he came on I learned slot from him.

Cons

Sometimes the hours when employees called off and you had to cover and at times when we really could not help the customer do to not caring their part at that moment and they could not wait for it to come in especially for special orders

Pros

The catalog system is easy to use and technology wise they are pretty up to date, very simple and convenient

Cons

The hours suck, the pay sucks. The company only cares about profit it’s no different from autozone, they are able to sell parts for less compared to Napa because they pay the employees barely above minimum, they don’t like giving raises no matter how hard your work you have to basically be a store manager or higher to get a good pay. They open more stores to make more profit and keep employees at the bare minimum. It sucks working there I think if your ISS, which is wholesale, you can make decent money with that because they give a bigger bonus from the amount of sales you make plus less responsibility and better hours but thats if a position opens up and you’ll probably be there 4 plus years until you can get that position unless you’re lucky and one opens up in the area.
