Pros

The sphere of influence and market share this small, privately held pharmaceutical company enjoys is phenomenal! I have watched this company and its product lines grow significantly and evolve into an industry leader, all while continually being ranked among Houston's "Top 100 Employers". As with any growing company OcuSoft experiences "growing pains" however the focus of the executive team on excellence and employee retention is very apparent. Unlike many pharma companies who over hire and allow their reps to market only limited products, OcuSoft has developed and continues to develop one of the most comprehensive product lines in ophthalmology. Great company with, a family atmosphere and a very accessible management team.

Cons

As stated above OcuSoft is a rapidly growing leader in the pharmaceutical world, growth almost always is accompanied with growing pains. This being said the Executive and Management team are sensitive to this and do truly care about their employees..

Pros

Get your feet wet into the medical sales industry but if you have any experience I mean ANY, you should not come here

Cons

Everything… dishonest when you are interviewing about potential pay. They give all these big promises and then fall flat on everything. Training is a joke and they expect you to do well in the field when they barely train you. Sexist comments are made, they treat male workers very differently than female. They are extremely disorganized and do not respect your time as a human being. Highly highly underpaid and not industry standard. They are falling behind in the market and only care about taking down Scope. Better off going anywhere else to find a job unless you really need the experience. Every person here is afraid on the daily about losing their job, they have horrible turnover. If you are interviewing, please PLEASE ask them about their average tenure, most people last less than a year.
