Pros
I must say, I have been working for OMG National now for about a year and a half and I have no intentions of leaving. There are a lot of reviews posted that do not do the company justice and for that reason, I have finally decided I needed to share my personal experience for any future OMGers! Since my employment with OMG, things have changed 180%. The majority of the negative reviews are from previous, unqualified employees along with a confusion of job description. As an Account Executive, I manage multiple business accounts in various industries. I assist in daily promotions, online visibility, review management, and social media management and advertising (both paid and organic). An AE communicates with all departments, both Sales & Production. To best describe the position, you are the liaison between the company and OMG but internally, an AE fully represents their client! I love what I do. I learn every day from my clients, they teach me their industry, and in turn, I use that knowledge to boost their activity and online presence. An AE's ultimate goal is ALWAYS client satisfaction! You never cold call, or are forced to do any sales if you are not a salesperson. Your primary job is to fulfill the needs of your clients. While working with your clients, you may identify areas of opportunities they can improve on or maybe benefit from a different product and it is OK for you to recommend the product/service and you are always incentivized if the client chooses to take on your recommendation. But again, that is not a requirement.
Cons
First, there are many discrepancies and confusion with job titles and descriptions, which I find a bit frustrating solely because I take pride in what I do.
