Pros

Grateful for a company that taught me what not to put up with. — Fast growth = short employment (for most) 😟 "The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long." – Lao Tzu 🕯️

Cons

I don't have much else to add outside my notes to the management here (below), except to echo the complaints of everyone else here: - bait and switch - revolving door - terrible pay - false promises - fear/punishment-based incentives - no room for professional growth It seems that some people (and companies) don't change. There should be laws against running companies the OMG runs theirs. It's the corporate equivalent to emotional abuse. I would advise anyone I know to work retail or fast food—mad respect to fast-food workers btw, been there—before working at OMG. Run from this place. I worked for OMG for several years. One day, they asked me if I would be willing to relocate to California to help them open a new branch (uproot my life and go). I considered it but respectfully declined. Two weeks later, I was laid off without any explanation except that "my heart wasn't in it." I'd have to agree— it's impossible to put your heart into a company like this, but you know what I did put in? Sweat, tears, late nights, and my health— all sacrificed for a company that never paid back. Oh, and $0 severance. Called in, laid off, and never looked back.

OMG National Response
4y
Normally, we try to to be constructive with the feedback given to us; however, given the fradulent nature (or confused-- maybe you mean another company) of this review, it makes it very difficult to tangibly respond. We have been remote for several years now, with employees in 13 states (California included), so we wouldn't need anyone to move to California considering the decentralized nature of the company. Adidtionally, there is very little credible fact in this review outside of a little bit of slander, and some perceived business strategy insight-- but it really seems like you never really worked with us. That said, I can assure you, on behalf of leadership, anyone we trust enough to ask them to "move somewhere" for us, would not be fired a week later. Best of luck to you Mr. Anonymous Slanderer, perhaps if you get over your anger, you should re-apply, as our 2022 benefits package is quite attractive! :)

Pros

Great environment great staff very understanding people. I have literally had the worst past 8 months of my life and these guys have shown nothing but care and understanding. I have never experienced a management staff that was so humane. They do have certain metrics they expect every employee to meet but they don't make these metrics impossible to hit like some companies do. With the world being what it is we need more companys full of people like OMG staff. Thanks to Jon and Abby for being killer bosses!!!

Cons

Lower pay than most but to me this is a trade off for their exceptional work/life balance.
