I enjoyed working here...until I was abruptly fired. - Appointment Setter OMG National Employee Review

I was fired in the middle of the day without warning. I was not pulled aside and coached on my performance or offered ways I could improve my transfer rate. They claimed I didn’t get the minimum number of transfers the week before (we had a holiday and only worked four days that week, and I in fact did meet the minimum number of transfers for a four-day work week). I was given a two dollar raise just days before I was fired. They fired me early in the day without letting me finish when I had interested prospects who could have been potentially transferred. I felt the way this was handled was totally unprofessional. And I was fired over a phone call...they didn't even have the courage to have a conference or video call me. Had I known something like this would happen, I would have accepted employment with another company who was wanting to hire me. I feel like there is no real sense of job security, and employees are expendable (they went through nine other employees on our team and just hired three more in the two months I was there).
