In no particular order:
1. Prospects are incredibly limited. Promotion only seems to be available to those who are favourites or sycophants
2. No scheduled pay rises, and what's worse is they make it incredibly difficult to go about scheduling a pay review. Also, wages are below the industry standard and trust me when I say they will not be willing to match it!
3. Two-faced working environment; people are very ready to throw anyone under the bus
4. Most of the Line Managers have no actual managerial experience, this is reflected in their poor decision-making and lack of organisation
5. A suspiciously high staff turnover rate; in 2 years of service I lost count of how many people came and went as it was just extraordinary
