Pros

Great coworkers who support each other and create a positive clinical environment, Some benefits available even for part-time employees, Some clinic’s management has a clinical background, which helps them understand workload, patient flow, and staff needs

Cons

Health insurance for part-time staff is expensive and not competitive, Lack of meaningful merit-based raises or bonuses makes it hard to feel rewarded for efficiency or going above and beyond, Incentive structure does not reflect the demands placed on clinical staff, Management quality varies widely between clinics; leadership without a clinical background often struggles to understand or support clinical roles effectively

Pros

Strict ratios for nurses at this hospital. Med-surg never above 5 patients on day shift. Good 401k matching, good pto.

Cons

same issues as most hospital nursing environments. Being over-worked with very sick patients, feelings stretched too thin with less resources each year. that being said, this was a better environment than most hospitals.
