Pros
The salary isn't bad for a new manager. The work itself isn't very difficult, at the end of the day, it's just making sure people show up on time and the kitchen isn't on fire. Opportunities for growth and a lot of learning.
Cons
Overworked and underappreciated. Your co-workers will love you, but upper management won't even know your name even if you've been there for months working overtime. You're always "working" as you're expected to have your work phone on even while you're not on the location. Bartenders and servers get paid more after tips, way more.
