Pros
- None - Keep in mind I never worked a shift there. I posted this to help other people avoid the company, as I experienced so many red flags simply onboarding with them that I think my experience lends credibility to the other negative reviews. - Onboarding is a part of the employee experience, so this review can stand alone with respect to that.
Cons
I applied and accepted a position as Bartender in Toronto Pearson Airport with OTG. Here's a rundown of my interview and onboarding experience: - Recruiter books my interview on the wrong day and doesn't tell me. No apology. I got dressed up for it. - GM tells me I have to respond to emails within 24 hours. I ask for clarification: does this mean I simply need to respond or do all decisions need to be made and contracts signed within 24 hours? No response. I was busy with my current job at the time so when I got my offer letter I just made a quick decision and signed it during the hours remaining after work. - Onboarding administrator emails me communicating that I need to submit my documents by the end of Oct 23, 2024. Then, the morning of she emails me communicating that I have until 4pm of that day. I had work that day. I had to call in to have the deadline changed. No apology. - I ask to a speak to someone about their shift bid system, work environment, etc. No response from any of the 4 other people on the email chain, which included 2 GMs. - I tell them I'm no longer interested in working there. An HR lady calls me asking me for an explanation/feedback and leaves a message. I message the HR lady back asking to set up a time. No response. The irony!
