Pros
The facility is clean and climate controlled, one half is set to 33 F and the other is set to 70 year round. There are no harsh chemicals, gasses, grease, or grime and safety/cleanliness is a high priority. It is one of the cleanest and easiest maintenance jobs I have seen.
Cons
The schedule involves 12 hour shifts about 3 days a week 7am-7pm and every month it switches to 7pm-7am. You are required to adjust to a night shift and then back to a day shift and then back to a night constantly. If you can handle this it's alright if inconvenient for personal life. Personally the schedule left me constantly exhausted and at some points delirious with fatigue. The negative impact on my sleep seemed to be cumulative and it just got worse every month.
