Absolutely disgusting company - Field Merchandiser Ocean State Job Lot Employee Review

This company is absolutely disgusting. I was excited to get this job (almost 10 years ago, btw) but quickly learned that it was built on lies. This company doesn't understand or reward loyalty. Every single one of the perks that were used to lure me in have been stripped away. Most recently they found a way to restructure the position and take away about $1200 per MONTH from my family. AFTER telling me that the changes being made would only affect incoming employees. Lies. Worked every single day of this pandemic while the CEO literally cowered at home. Meanwhile they brag about record breaking sales and growth and they donate truckloads of this and hundreds of thousands of dollars to that. Now Im stuck here because my family needs the medical benefits for now but we literally can no longer pay our monthly bills. Never had to be afraid of ending up homeless until now. Thanks Job Lot.
