Pros

Good compensation and benefits packages

Cons

EXTREMELY LOUSY supervisors in key positions. Once challenged or supervisors shown that you have more experience, knowledge and talent, they purge you from the mix by overloading you and expecting unrealistic completion dates on projects. If you have ideas on how to improve the PROCESS IMPROVEMENT OFFICE, they summarily reject you and your ideas. I was discharge after 4-1/2 months, and I was on a 90-day probationary period. I challenged my supervisor, who inexplicably was PROMOTED, and let go because I was showing a lot of support from my project customers and COO of the Jefferson campus. I threatened their program that I could have pushed to greater successes.

Pros

The mentorship I received at Ochsner was amazing. Across multiple departments, I met kind, professional people willing to share their experiences and offer advice and insight. I enjoyed this position, and learned a lot about IT operations.

Cons

It was difficult to learn on days where work was fully remote- I much preferred in person.
