Pros
You're employed. A steady pay check is coming in
Cons
This the arrogant administration I have ever dealt with. They attempt to brain wash you with corporate BS, like being a family and other fluffy garbage. My guess is that it's an attempt to compensate for their low pay. Ironically, the only people drinking the Kool aide are the ones servicing it. They openly admit they pay in the 50 to 55%. I've never experience micromanagement of this level. It's to the point that one feel like a robot instead of a clinician. You always getting letters about not following Oschner's protocols. Their contracts or word means nothing. Once, you give notice you become a persona non grata ( It's personal to them.) Calls to HR go unanswered and unreturned. Hopefully, I've articulated that working for Ochsner was a horrible experience. You have been warned, run, run fast !!
