Pros

Did push me to return to college, was paid while most of the time being in college

Cons

Was fired after one mistake during my summer break from program. Was placed at a different clinic that was short staffed and poorly managed. After being fired, sent an email stating that I owed $12,500.00 dollars!!! No mercy!!! A couple of other people I know that unfortunately didn't have funds to pay back right away, had to wind up paying like %15 interest on top of that plus pay the school back! By the GRACE OF GOD literally, I was able to qualify for pell grant/loans and completed the nursing program. Had I known what would happen, I would have just went on my own without Ochsner. All good, now I get paid $33 an hour and NOT tied to them with a two year contract to fulfill. I would have only been making like maybe $22.00 hour the bare minimal for an LPN in this state. Anyway, things turned out for the best for me and making MUCH more money now without Ochsner.........:)
